The Marathon Plus is suitable for E-bikes with pedal assistance up to 50 km. For these fast E-bikes - S-pedelecs with admission, insurance, pedal assistance, above 25 km / h, this special approval of the tires is necessary. The advice is to use the E-bike tires for these E-bikes with the ECE-R75 approval valid in Europe. A flat tire can never be completely excluded, but with the Marathon Plus series tires you are best protected against typical causes of a nice tire, such as shards or sharp stones. With the Marathon Plus, definitely use a pressure gauge for adjusting the tire pressure. Due to the special construction of the tire, a tire pressure test with the thumbs is very unreliable.
